Quick answer: Renue By Science is a legitimate US NMN brand. It sells NMN as a loose powder, sublingual tablets, liposomal capsules and enteric capsules, and it posts batch-numbered lab reports for them. Its powder is the cheapest option in this review at $0.27 per 500 mg. Its liposomal capsules cost $1.44 per 500 mg, and the only human study behind the liposomal pitch tested five people per group and used another company’s product. Our pick in this Renue By Science NMN review for 2026 is Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg: 500 mg per capsule, 90 capsules for $49.99, or $0.56 per 500 mg, less than any Renue capsule.
Eternal Elixir makes NMN 500mg and competes with Renue By Science, so read this as a competitor’s review. Every Renue figure below comes from its product pages, its refund policy, the lab reports it links and the study it cites, all read on September 25, 2026. We did not buy or lab-test Renue products. Here is how we write and review content.
Renue By Science NMN review 2026: what the brand sells
Renue By Science is a US supplement company built around NAD+ precursors. Its about page says it began selling NAD+ boosters in 2017, names Bryan Nettles as founder and CEO, and places its shipping and customer service team in a warehouse in Jacksonville, Florida. It sells through its own store and on Amazon.
Its NMN range covers four delivery formats:
- NMN Pure Powder: 100 g for $54.95. One scoop holds 500 mg, and Renue lists it as a sublingual powder. The directions say one full scoop twice a day, with new users starting at about half a scoop twice a day for a week.
- NMNs Fast Dissolve Tabs: 240 tablets for $54.95. Two tablets give 250 mg of NMN, and the tablets can be chewed or dissolved under the tongue.
- NMN Liposomal Capsules: $64.95 for 45 servings. Each two-capsule serving holds 500 mg (250 mg per capsule), with sunflower lecithin, rice flour and microcrystalline cellulose in a plant capsule.
- NMN SLC Enteric Capsules: 200 capsules for $58.95, each with 250 mg of NMN and 100 mg of TMG in an acid-resistant capsule. It showed as sold out when we checked.
Renue’s own product copy is blunt about where it stands. It says it sells no standard NMN capsules, and it claims every one of its formats is far more bioavailable than a standard capsule. We sell a plain capsule, so we have a stake in that argument. The rest of this review prices each format and then checks the claim against the human studies. For the wider field, our roundup of the best NMN supplements compares the major brands on dose and price, and our NAD+ supplement comparison shows where NMN sits among the other precursors.
Four delivery formats, priced per 500 mg
Bottle prices hide the real spread, because a 100 g tub and a 45-serving bottle hold very different amounts of NMN. The table below divides each price by the NMN the label declares. These are one-time prices as of Sep 2026.
| Product | Format | NMN on the label | NMN per container | Price | Cost per 500 mg of NMN |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg | Plain capsule, 90 count | 500 mg per capsule | 45 g | $49.99 | $0.56 |
| Renue NMN Pure Powder | Loose powder, 100 g | 500 mg per scoop | 100 g | $54.95 | $0.27 |
| Renue NMN SLC Enteric Capsules (sold out when checked) | Enteric capsule, 200 count | 250 mg NMN and 100 mg TMG per capsule | 50 g | $58.95 | $0.59 |
| Renue NMNs Fast Dissolve Tabs | Sublingual tablet, 240 count | 250 mg per 2 tablets | 30 g | $54.95 | $0.92 |
| Renue NMN Liposomal Capsules | Liposomal capsule, 45 servings | 500 mg per 2 capsules | 22.5 g | $64.95 | $1.44 |
| Eternal Elixir NMN Advanced Longevity Complex | Capsule, 30 servings | 500 mg NMN plus five other actives per 2 capsules | 15 g | $64.99 | $2.17 (price also covers the other actives) |
Add NMN 500mg to cart · $49.99
Two things stand out. First, the same molecule costs between $0.27 and $1.44 per 500 mg inside one brand’s catalog, so the liposomal capsules cost more than five times as much per milligram as the powder. Second, Renue’s loose powder is the cheapest NMN on the table, ours included. If you own a scale or trust a scoop and want the most NMN per dollar, the powder wins, and we won’t pretend otherwise.
Among capsules, our NMN 500mg costs less per 500 mg than every Renue capsule, and it takes one capsule to reach 500 mg instead of two. Buying two bottles saves 10%, three save 15% and five save 20%, which brings each capsule to about $0.44 on the five-bottle tier. Our Advanced Longevity Complex costs more per gram of NMN because the same two capsules also carry 250 mg of TMG, 200 mg of pterostilbene, 100 mg of trans-resveratrol, 100 mg of quercetin phytosome and 50 mg of apigenin.
Is Renue By Science third-party tested? What its lab reports show
Yes, and this is the brand’s strongest point. Renue lists batch numbers on its product pages and links a lab report for each one, and it tells buyers to match the “BN” code on the bottom of the container to the report. We opened the reports for the batches it listed as shipping:
- NMN Pure Powder, lot 072827576: Summit Nutritional Laboratories, an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited lab, measured 100.113 g of NMN per 100 g by HPLC in a report dated August 20, 2026. A second report for the same lot, dated September 4, 2026 from a separate accredited lab in St. Petersburg, Florida, found 504 mg of NMN per 0.5 g sample. It also found lead and arsenic at 0.004 ppm, cadmium at 0.003 ppm and mercury below 0.001 ppm, against limits of 4 ppm for the first three and 2 ppm for mercury, and it passed the microbial tests.
- NMN Liposomal Capsules, lot 062827351: Summit measured 507.776 mg of NMN per two-capsule serving against a 500 mg specification, in a report dated July 20, 2026.
These are content tests as well as purity tests, and that matters in this category. In a 2024 study in GeroScience (Sandalova and colleagues), researchers tested 18 NMN supplements, 3 of them liposomal, bought online, in pharmacies or from makers. Measured NMN ranged from 28.6% above the label to 100% below it, and a result of −100% means none was found. Renue’s reports put its current powder and liposomal batches at or just above the label amount.
Two limits apply. A report covers the batch it names, so check that the code on your container matches. And these reports confirm how much NMN is in the product, not what the delivery format does once you swallow it. That is a separate question.
Does liposomal or sublingual NMN beat a plain capsule? What the trials show
Renue’s product copy makes three absorption claims: that less than 10% of NMN from regular capsules reaches the bloodstream intact, that about 30% of sublingual NMN is absorbed directly, and that its liposomal capsules are 3 to 5 times more bioavailable than its sublingual products. The pages we read cite no study for any of those figures.
The liposomal study Renue cites. Renue’s liposomal page links an exploratory trial by Kawakami and colleagues, published in 2025 in the Annals of Clinical and Medical Case Reports. Fifteen Japanese men aged 40 or older took a placebo (4 g of maltodextrin a day), 350 mg a day of plain NMN, or 350 mg a day of liposomal NMN for four weeks, with five men in each group. After four weeks, blood NAD+ in the liposomal group was higher than in both other groups, and Renue’s page reports an 84% rise, from 28.6 µM to 52.5 µM. It is the main human evidence for the liposomal format, and it deserves a fair reading. It also has clear limits:
- Five people per group is a very small sample.
- The liposomal product tested was SINTO liposomal NMN, supplied free by the company that makes it. It was not Renue’s capsule.
- The plain NMN group did not differ from placebo (p = 0.545), which runs against the larger placebo-controlled trials below, where plain oral NMN raised blood NAD+.
- We found no record of the paper in PubMed or Europe PMC when we searched in September 2026, and a search of both for liposomal NMN turned up no human trial.
What plain oral NMN has done in larger trials. In a 12-week study in Frontiers in Nutrition (Okabe and colleagues, 2022), 30 healthy adults took 250 mg of NMN a day or a placebo, 15 per group. Whole-blood NAD+ rose significantly on NMN, and the researchers saw no obvious adverse effects. Employees of the company that supplied the NMN were among the authors. In a 60-day trial in GeroScience (Yi and colleagues, 2023), 80 healthy middle-aged adults took a placebo or 300 mg, 600 mg or 900 mg of NMN once a day. Blood NAD rose in every NMN group compared with placebo and baseline, and it was highest at 600 mg and 900 mg. The lead author worked for an NMN supplier. Neither trial used a liposomal or sublingual format.
The gut question. Renue’s enteric capsule page points to mouse work suggesting gut bacteria break down oral NMN before it can be used, which is its case for protecting the dose. A 2026 human study in Nature Metabolism (Christen and colleagues) complicates that. In 65 healthy adults, 14 days of NR or NMN raised circulating NAD+ by a similar amount, while nicotinamide did not. In lab tests with human gut microbes, NR and NMN were converted to nicotinic acid, and the authors proposed a gut-dependent route for how both raise NAD+. The authors worked for Nestlé.
If part of oral NMN’s effect runs through gut microbes, a format built to skip the gut is not automatically an upgrade. That doesn’t show liposomal NMN underperforms. No trial has tested any of Renue’s finished products against a plain capsule at the same dose. Evidence level: short human trials show plain oral NMN raises blood NAD+. For delivery formats, the human evidence is one 15-person exploratory study of another brand’s product. NMN has not been shown to extend human lifespan. Our comparison of liposomal NMN supplements and plain capsules goes further into the formats, and our Quicksilver Scientific review asks the same question about liposomal liquids.
Dose check: Renue servings against the trial doses
The human trials above used 250 mg to 900 mg of NMN a day. Renue’s servings sit across that range, and the cost of reaching a given dose varies a lot by format:
- Powder: the full label dose is one 500 mg scoop twice a day, or 1,000 mg a day, a little above the top dose in the dose-ranging trial. At that rate a tub lasts 100 days and costs about $0.55 a day.
- Liposomal capsules: one two-capsule serving gives 500 mg, so a bottle lasts 45 days at $1.44 a day. Reaching 1,000 mg takes four capsules and doubles the cost to $2.89 a day.
- Fast Dissolve Tabs: 500 mg a day takes four tablets, so a 240-count tub lasts 60 days at about $0.92 a day.
- Our NMN 500mg: one capsule gives 500 mg, so a bottle holds 90 capsules at $0.56 each.
Consistency matters more than format. The trials that moved blood NAD+ ran for 60 days and 12 weeks, and a product you can afford to take daily for three months is the one that fits what was studied. This is the same arithmetic we ran on NMN against resveratrol, and our 1,000 mg NMN comparison covers the higher end of the range.
Renue By Science vs Eternal Elixir NMN
Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg is a single-ingredient capsule. The front label declares 500 mg of NMN per capsule and 90 capsules per bottle, and the only other ingredients listed are rice flour and a cellulose capsule. Our product page states the evidence level for NMN and says plainly that it has not been shown to extend human lifespan. It costs $49.99, which is $0.56 per 500 mg, and it comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee, free US shipping over $100 and dispatch within 24 hours.
Renue wins on some points, and a fair review says so:
- Lowest cost per milligram: its powder at $0.27 per 500 mg.
- Format choice: powder, tablets and liposomal capsules in stock, plus an NMN gel and an NAD+ nasal spray outside this comparison.
- Returns and shipping: its refund policy offers a refund or replacement on products bought in the previous 60 days, and its product pages show free shipping on orders of $50 or more.
Our capsule wins if you want a fixed 500 mg dose with nothing to measure, one capsule instead of two or four, and a lower price per 500 mg than any Renue capsule. If you liked the idea of Renue’s enteric capsule because it adds TMG, our NMN Advanced Longevity Complex pairs 500 mg of NMN with 250 mg of TMG and four plant compounds per serving. If you want a different NAD+ precursor, the 2026 trial above found NR raised NAD+ about as much as NMN, and we sell nicotinamide riboside capsules as well.
Who Renue suits, and who should buy a plain capsule
Renue suits you if you want the lowest price per milligram and are happy to measure a powder, if you have a clear reason to prefer sublingual dosing, or if batch-matched lab reports are your first filter. Its powder is the value choice within its own range.
A plain capsule suits you if you want 500 mg in one capsule, no scoop and no counting tablets, and you would rather not pay a liposomal premium that has not been tested against a plain capsule at the same dose in a published human trial. That is what our NMN 500mg is built for.
How Renue compares with other NMN brands we’ve reviewed
Renue sits with the brands that sell delivery technology. Our Purovitalis NMN review and Wonderfeel Youngr review run the same cost check on two more premium-format bottles, and our Omre NMN review looks at a combined NMN and resveratrol capsule. Our Toniiq NMN review and Do Not Age review cover brands that put more NMN in each capsule. For broader catalogs, see our Life Extension review and Double Wood Supplements review. Renue By Science NMN review: frequently asked questions
Is Renue Pure NMN legit?
Yes. Renue has sold NAD+ products since 2017, lists batch numbers on its product pages, and links reports from accredited labs that show its current NMN Pure Powder batch at 504 mg of NMN per 0.5 g, with heavy metals far below the limits tested. On Trustpilot the company showed 4.3 out of 5 from 216 reviews when we checked on September 25, 2026, with 70% five-star and 13% one-star ratings. The fair criticism of Renue is the price of its premium formats, not the authenticity of its NMN.
Is Renue by Science third-party tested?
Yes. Its product pages link outside lab reports by batch number. The current powder batch was tested for NMN content, heavy metals and microbes, and the current liposomal capsule batch measured 507.776 mg of NMN per two-capsule serving against a 500 mg specification. Match the batch code on your container to the report, because each report covers only the batch it names.
Is liposomal NMN worth the extra cost?
On current evidence, it is hard to justify on price alone. Renue’s liposomal capsules cost $1.44 per 500 mg against $0.27 for its own powder and $0.56 for our plain capsule. The one human study behind the liposomal claim had five people per group and tested another company’s product. If your budget is fixed, a higher daily dose of a plain format is the better-supported choice.
What is the downside of taking NMN?
The main downsides are cost and uncertainty. In the 60-day trial above, doses up to 900 mg a day raised no safety issues and were well tolerated, but trials so far are short and in healthy adults, so long-term effects have not been studied. Talk to your doctor before taking NMN if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, take prescription medicines or have a health condition. Our NMN safety guide covers what is known.
How much NMN is in each Renue product?
The NMN Pure Powder gives 500 mg per scoop in a 100 g tub. The Fast Dissolve Tabs give 250 mg per two tablets, 240 tablets to a tub. The Liposomal Capsules give 500 mg per two capsules, 45 servings to a bottle. The SLC Enteric Capsules give 250 mg of NMN and 100 mg of TMG per capsule, 200 to a bottle, and were sold out when we checked.
What is the best NMN product in 2026?
Our pick is Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg, which we make: 500 mg per capsule declared on the front label, 90 capsules for $49.99, or $0.56 per 500 mg. If you want the lowest cost per milligram and don’t mind a scoop, Renue’s NMN Pure Powder is cheaper per milligram at $0.27 per 500 mg.

Our verdict on Renue By Science NMN
Renue By Science sells real NMN, backs its current batches with lab reports that check content as well as purity, and prices its powder at $0.27 per 500 mg, the lowest figure in this review. Its sublingual tablets and liposomal capsules cost about three to five times as much per milligram as that powder, and the human evidence for that premium is one small study of a different brand’s product. If you want a fixed dose in a capsule, our NMN 500mg puts 500 mg in each one, 90 to a bottle, at $0.56 per 500 mg.
