Liposomal NMN supplements vs capsules comes down to what you pay for the same molecule in 2026, and what that extra money buys you. Both formats contain nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN), a compound the body uses to make NAD+. The liposomal version wraps the NMN in microscopic fat spheres that are meant to carry it safely through digestion. That packaging costs more to make. The human evidence that it gets more NMN into your blood is, so far, one pilot study with five people in each group.
We compared six NMN products sold in the US, three liposomal and three standard capsules, on one common unit: the cost of 500 mg of NMN. Every price and dose comes from the brand’s own product page as of Sep 2026. We also set out what the research does and doesn’t show, with an evidence level for each claim.
Quick answer
- Our pick: Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg. A standard capsule with 500 mg of NMN in each capsule, 90 capsules per bottle, $0.56 per 500 mg. Plain oral NMN is the form tested in the published randomized human trials.
- Cheapest liposomal NMN per milligram: Codeage Liposomal NMN 1000, at $0.75 per 500 mg.
- Best-documented liposomal NMN: Renue By Science Liposomal NMN Capsules, with batch-numbered lab reports, at $1.44 per 500 mg.
- The evidence: PubMed lists no human trial of liposomal NMN taken by mouth. The one human comparison, published outside PubMed, had five men per group and tested a liposome none of these brands sells.
Liposomal NMN vs capsules: what actually differs
Every product in this comparison contains the same active molecule, beta-nicotinamide mononucleotide. What changes is the packaging around it, and the packaging explains most of the price gap between the cheapest and the most expensive way to take 500 mg a day.
Standard NMN capsules
A standard capsule holds NMN powder and a filler such as rice flour inside a plant cellulose shell. Nothing is added to shield the NMN from stomach acid or gut enzymes. This is the cheapest format to make, and it is the form used in the randomized human trials described below. Our NMN 500mg and ProHealth Longevity’s NMN Pro 500 are both standard capsules.
Liposomal NMN capsules
A liposome is a microscopic sphere made of phospholipids, the same family of fats that forms the outer layer of your cells. Liposomal NMN puts the NMN inside those spheres. The idea is that the phospholipid shell protects the NMN during digestion and releases it more slowly. On all three liposomal labels in this comparison, the phospholipids come from sunflower lecithin.
Renue By Science says its liposomes release their contents over up to 24 hours. Making liposomes takes extra steps and equipment, and Renue states that its liposomal NMN costs the most per milligram of all the NMN formats it sells. That cost is passed on to you, usually as fewer milligrams per capsule at a higher price.
Sublingual NMN powder
Some brands also sell loose NMN powder to hold under the tongue. Part of the dose may be absorbed through the lining of the mouth, and the rest is swallowed. Powder is the cheapest route per milligram, but you measure each dose yourself. We cover it in its own section further down because it is neither a capsule nor liposomal.
What the research shows on liposomal vs regular NMN
This is the part most liposomal NMN pages skip. Plain oral NMN has a young but real body of human trials. Liposomal NMN taken by mouth does not yet have one. Here is what each layer of evidence contains, and how much weight it can carry.
Plain oral NMN: several randomized human trials
Standard NMN swallowed as a capsule has been tested in randomized, placebo-controlled trials. They are small to mid-sized and short, and most were run or co-authored by company scientists, but they exist and they were published in indexed journals:
- Yi and colleagues, GeroScience, 2023. 80 healthy middle-aged adults took a placebo or 300 mg, 600 mg or 900 mg of NMN once a day for 60 days. Blood NAD concentrations rose in all three NMN groups compared with placebo and with their own starting levels, and were highest at 600 mg and 900 mg. The trial found no safety issues at any dose. Three of the authors work for Abinopharm or ABA Chemicals.
- Huang, Frontiers in Aging, 2022. 66 healthy adults aged 40 to 65 took 300 mg a day of Uthever NMN, the ingredient in both ProHealth products below, or a starch placebo for 60 days. Serum NAD+/NADH rose 38% from baseline in the NMN group and 14.3% in the placebo group. The author was employed by Effepharm, the company that makes Uthever.
- Katayoshi and colleagues, Scientific Reports, 2023. 36 healthy middle-aged adults took 125 mg of NMN twice a day (250 mg in total) or a placebo for 12 weeks. NAD+ metabolites rose in the NMN group, and there were no adverse events. The main measure of arterial stiffness tended to improve but did not differ significantly from placebo.
- Irie and colleagues, Endocrine Journal, 2020. Ten healthy men took single doses of 100 mg, 250 mg and 500 mg of NMN. None of the doses caused significant clinical symptoms or changes in heart rate, blood pressure or body temperature over the following five hours.
Evidence level: randomized human trials, up to 80 people and up to 12 weeks long. They show that plain oral NMN raises blood NAD+ markers and was well tolerated at the doses tested. They say nothing about years of use, and no form of NMN has been shown to extend human lifespan.
Liposomal NMN: one small pilot, outside PubMed
A PubMed search for liposomal nicotinamide mononucleotide, run in September 2026, returns 11 records. They cover gels applied to the skin, cell and animal models, and drug-delivery research. None of the 11 is a human trial of liposomal NMN taken by mouth.
The human comparison that liposomal brands cite sits outside PubMed. Kawakami, Maeda and Fukuzawa published it in Annals of Clinical and Medical Case Reports in 2025. Fifteen healthy men aged 40 and over were split into three groups of five for four weeks: a placebo (4 g of maltodextrin a day), a standard NMN product at 350 mg a day, and a liposomal NMN at 350 mg a day. Here is what the paper reports:
- After four weeks, NAD+ in the liposomal group was significantly higher than in both the placebo group and the standard NMN group.
- The standard NMN group did not differ significantly from placebo (p = 0.545). That is out of line with the larger trials above, where plain NMN did beat placebo, and it shows how easily chance moves results when each group has five people.
- Four weeks after everyone stopped, the three groups no longer differed significantly.
- The liposomal product was SINTO liposomal NMN, supplied free of charge by Premier Anti-Aging Co., Ltd. It is not one of the capsules in our comparison.
Renue By Science reports this study on its liposomal product page as an 84% rise in blood NAD+, from 28.6 µM to 52.5 µM. To its credit, the page sets out the study design and the group sizes in full. The result, though, belongs to another company’s liposome, and a different liposome made a different way may not behave the same.
Evidence level: one pilot study with five people per group, not indexed in PubMed, testing a product not sold in this comparison. It is a reason to run a proper trial, not proof that liposomal capsules work better.
How NMN gets into cells is still debated
The case for liposomes rests on the idea that swallowed NMN is lost or broken down before it can be used. Renue By Science states that less than 10% of NMN or NR taken in regular capsules reaches the bloodstream intact. The page doesn’t give a source for that figure.
The underlying science is unsettled. In 2019, Grozio and colleagues reported in Nature Metabolism that a protein called Slc12a8 carries NMN into cells lining the mouse small intestine. Schmidt and Brenner replied in the same journal that the data did not show Slc12a8 is an NMN transporter. The Kawakami paper itself notes that this transporter has not been found in the human gut, and that the more widely accepted route in people is for NMN to be converted to nicotinamide riboside (NR) before cells take it up.
ProHealth Longevity says its NMN Pro 500 targets Slc12a8 transporter sites in the small intestine and that absorption there “is increased over 100 times”. That is the brand’s claim. The transporter itself has only been described in mice, and even that finding is disputed.
Evidence level: mouse data, disputed. Nobody has yet measured in people whether wrapping NMN in a liposome changes how much of it reaches the cells that use it.
What has not been shown
- No randomized trial with more than five people per group has compared liposomal NMN with standard NMN.
- No study has compared any of the retail liposomal products in this article with a standard capsule.
- No form of NMN, liposomal or standard, has been shown to extend human lifespan.
- Blood NAD+ is a marker. A higher reading on its own does not tell you that you will feel or function differently.
The cost table: 6 NMN products compared on the same dose
Each row uses the brand’s own label serving and its direct price, as of Sep 2026. The last column converts every product to the cost of 500 mg of NMN, the amount in one of our capsules, so that bottles with different serving sizes can be compared directly. For our multi-ingredient complex, that column counts the NMN only.
| Rank | Product | Format | NMN per label serving | Price | Servings per bottle | Cost per serving | Cost per 500 mg of NMN | Buy |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg | Standard capsule | 500 mg (1 capsule) | $49.99 | 90 | $0.56 | $0.56 | View NMN 500mg |
| 2 | Codeage Liposomal NMN 1000 | Liposomal capsule, with TMG | 1,000 mg (2 capsules) | $89.99 | 60 | $1.50 | $0.75 | Codeage |
| 3 | Renue By Science Liposomal NMN Capsules | Liposomal capsule | 500 mg (2 capsules) | $64.95 | 45 | $1.44 | $1.44 | Renue By Science |
| 4 | ProHealth Longevity NMN Pro 500 | Standard capsule (Uthever NMN) | 500 mg (1 capsule) | $42.95 | 30 | $1.43 | $1.43 | ProHealth |
| 5 | ProHealth Longevity Liposomal NMN Pro 300 | Liposomal capsule (Uthever NMN) | 300 mg (2 capsules) | $32.95 | 30 | $1.10 | $1.83 | ProHealth |
| 6 | Eternal Elixir NMN Advanced Longevity Complex 1200mg | Multi-active capsule | 500 mg NMN plus 5 co-actives (2 capsules) | $64.99 | 30 | $2.17 | $2.17 (NMN only) | View the Complex |
Two things stand out. First, the liposomal premium varies far more than most buyers expect. Codeage’s liposomal capsule costs $0.75 per 500 mg, about a third more than our standard capsule, while ProHealth’s liposomal capsule costs $1.83. Second, sticker price is a poor guide. The cheapest bottle in the table is the most expensive way to reach 500 mg of NMN apart from our six-active complex. The label math section below shows why.
1. Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg: our pick, 500 mg in one capsule at the lowest cost per milligram
Label facts: 500 mg of beta-nicotinamide mononucleotide per capsule, 90 capsules per bottle, one capsule per serving. Ingredients: NMN, rice flour and a cellulose capsule. $49.99 a bottle, which is $0.56 per serving and $16.66 for 30 days.
Eternal Elixir makes NMN 500mg, and it is our pick for this comparison. The reasons are label facts you can check against every other row in the table:
- Dose per capsule. One capsule gives you 500 mg of NMN. The Renue and ProHealth liposomal capsules hold 250 mg and 150 mg each, so a serving means two capsules.
- Cost per milligram. $0.56 per 500 mg is the lowest of the six products here.
- Bottle size. 90 capsules lasts three months at one capsule a day. The other bottles in the table last one to two months at their label dose.
- Format. A plain oral capsule is the form tested in the published randomized NMN trials above.
- Short ingredient list. NMN, rice flour and the capsule shell. No blend and no proprietary delivery system to take on trust.
Our product page states the evidence level for NMN and says plainly that the product has not been shown to extend human lifespan. Buying two bottles saves 10%, three save 15% and five save 20%. Orders over $100 ship free in the US, and every order carries a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Who it suits: anyone who wants NMN in the trial-tested format at the lowest cost per milligram, and anyone who would rather take one capsule a day than two.
Who it doesn’t suit: buyers who have decided they want a liposomal format, and anyone who wants batch-numbered lab reports posted on the product page. We don’t post those yet. Renue By Science does.
Add NMN 500mg to cart · $49.992. Codeage Liposomal NMN 1000: the lowest cost per milligram for liposomal NMN
Label facts: 1,000 mg of NMN per serving of two capsules, paired with betaine anhydrous (TMG), 60 servings per bottle. The liposomes use Codeage’s Helix Liposomal Delivery, with phospholipids from sunflower lecithin, including phosphatidylcholine. Other ingredients: methylcellulose capsule, microcrystalline cellulose and silica. $89.99 a bottle, which is $1.50 per serving.
If you want liposomal NMN and cost per milligram matters, this is the bottle to look at first. At $0.75 per 500 mg it costs about a third more than our standard capsule, a much smaller gap than the other two liposomal products in the table. The 60-serving bottle lasts two months at the label dose, and the page lists it as vegan and free of dairy, soy and gluten.
Two points to weigh. The label serving is 1,000 mg of NMN a day, which is above the highest daily dose tested in the Yi trial (900 mg). And the product page doesn’t post a certificate of analysis or batch report, so you are relying on the brand’s own quality statements. Codeage offers free US shipping on orders over $50 and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Who it suits: buyers set on the liposomal format who don’t want to pay the steepest premium for it.
Who it doesn’t suit: anyone who wants a lower daily dose on the label, and anyone who expects to see a batch-matched lab report before buying.
3. Renue By Science Liposomal NMN Capsules: the best-documented liposomal NMN
Label facts: 250 mg of NMN per capsule, 500 mg per two-capsule serving, 45 servings per bottle. Other ingredients: hypromellose capsule, microcrystalline cellulose, sunflower lecithin and rice flour. $64.95 a bottle, which is $1.44 per serving.
Renue’s advantage is documentation. The product page lists certificates of analysis by batch number. The current batch, 062827351, has potency, heavy metal and microbiology results dated September 4, 2026, and older batches are listed below it. The batch number is printed on the bottom of the bottle, marked “BN”, so you can match the report to the product in your hand.
The page also lays out the full design of the Kawakami study, including the five-per-group size, rather than a bare headline percentage. That openness is worth something, even though, as covered above, the study tested a different company’s liposomal NMN.
The cost is the catch. At $1.44 per 500 mg, it is about 2.6 times the price of our standard capsule for the same amount of NMN, and nearly double Codeage’s liposomal capsule. Renue ships free in the US on orders over $50. Our longer Renue By Science NMN review compares its other NMN formats.
Who it suits: buyers who want liposomal NMN and rank batch-level testing above price.
Who it doesn’t suit: cost-focused buyers, and anyone who wants one capsule per serving.
4. ProHealth Longevity NMN Pro 500: the Uthever ingredient from a published trial, in one capsule
Label facts: 500 mg of Uthever NMN per one-capsule serving, 30 servings per bottle. Other ingredients: hypromellose capsule and rice flour. Suggested use: one capsule a day, with or without food, preferably in the morning. $42.95 a bottle, which is $1.43 per serving.
This is a standard capsule like ours, not a liposomal one. Its NMN is Uthever, the ingredient tested in the Huang 2022 trial at 300 mg a day. The certificate of analysis linked from the product page, from Brighton Laboratory for lot 2509142 and issued November 3, 2025, reports 513.21 mg of NMN per capsule against the 500 mg claim.
ProHealth markets the capsule on delivery to Slc12a8 transporter sites in the small intestine. As the research section explains, that transporter has only been described in mice and the finding is disputed. At $1.43 per 500 mg it costs nearly as much as Renue’s liposomal capsule without being liposomal, and 30 servings means a new bottle every month.
Who it suits: buyers who want the exact ingredient from a published placebo-controlled trial, with a lot-specific potency report.
Who it doesn’t suit: cost-focused buyers. The same 500 mg a day costs about two and a half times what it does in our capsule.
5. ProHealth Longevity Liposomal NMN Pro 300: the lowest bottle price for liposomal NMN
Label facts: 300 mg of Uthever NMN per two-capsule serving, 30 servings per bottle. Other ingredients: sunflower lecithin, microcrystalline cellulose and a hypromellose capsule. Suggested use: two capsules a day, with or without food, preferably in the morning. $32.95 a bottle, which is $1.10 per serving.
At $32.95 this is the cheapest bottle in the comparison, and the lowest outlay for trying liposomal NMN for a month at its label dose. The trade-off shows up once you convert to milligrams. The bottle holds 9,000 mg of NMN in total, so each 500 mg costs $1.83. Taking 500 mg a day in this format would cost $54.92 a month, against $16.66 in our capsule.
ProHealth links a certificate of analysis from the product page, as it does for NMN Pro 500.
Who it suits: first-time liposomal buyers who are happy at 300 mg a day and want the smallest upfront spend.
Who it doesn’t suit: anyone aiming for 500 mg a day, or anyone comparing on cost per milligram.
6. Eternal Elixir NMN Advanced Longevity Complex 1200mg: NMN plus five co-actives
Label facts: per two-capsule serving, NMN 500 mg, TMG (betaine anhydrous) 250 mg, pterostilbene 200 mg, trans-resveratrol 100 mg, quercetin phytosome 100 mg and apigenin 50 mg, for 1,200 mg of actives in total. 60 vegan capsules, 30 servings. $64.99 a bottle, which is $2.17 per serving.
Eternal Elixir makes this formula too. Priced on its NMN alone, it is the most expensive row in the table, and the table says so. That figure treats the other five actives as worth nothing. If you already planned to take TMG, pterostilbene or resveratrol alongside NMN, one bottle does the job of several.
The front-label 1,200 mg is the total of all six actives, and the product page spells that out ingredient by ingredient. Many multi-ingredient NAD+ labels put a large total on the front without making the NMN amount clear. Our comparison of NAD+ supplements works through several of those labels.
Who it suits: buyers who would otherwise assemble several separate bottles and would rather take one formula. If you only want NMN with resveratrol, VitaSolutions NMN + Resveratrol 1100mg, which we also stock, is a two-ingredient option.
Who it doesn’t suit: anyone who wants to adjust the NMN dose on its own, since the ratios are fixed, and anyone after a liposomal format.
The cheapest route of all: NMN powder
Renue By Science also sells NMN Pure Powder: a 100 g jar for $54.95, with 500 mg per scoop and 200 servings. That works out to $0.27 per 500 mg, about half the cost of our capsule, or $8.24 for 30 days at 500 mg a day. Renue sells it for use under the tongue. Its directions start new users on about half a scoop, roughly 250 mg, twice a day, and go up to a full scoop twice a day.
The trade-offs are practical rather than scientific. Loose powder needs a consistent scoop or a milligram scale, it travels badly, and it is easier to skip than a capsule. Renue posts batch-numbered lab reports for the powder as well. We left it out of the ranked six because it is neither a capsule nor liposomal, and those two formats are the comparison this article is about.
The label math: why the cheapest bottle can cost the most
Line up the three liposomal bottles by sticker price and the order looks obvious: ProHealth at $32.95, Renue at $64.95, Codeage at $89.99. Now divide by the NMN inside each one.
- ProHealth Liposomal NMN Pro 300: 300 mg per serving across 30 servings is 9,000 mg of NMN, or $1.83 per 500 mg.
- Renue By Science Liposomal NMN: 500 mg per serving across 45 servings is 22,500 mg, or $1.44 per 500 mg.
- Codeage Liposomal NMN 1000: 1,000 mg per serving across 60 servings is 60,000 mg, or $0.75 per 500 mg.
The cost per milligram runs in exactly the opposite order to the sticker price. The most expensive bottle holds more than six times as much NMN as the cheapest one. This is the most common way NMN price comparisons mislead, and it happens because serving sizes differ so much between brands. Four rules follow, and they work for any NMN product:
- Find the serving size before the price. Two capsules is not one, and 300 mg is not 500 mg.
- Divide the bottle price by the total milligrams of NMN. Capsule count is packaging, not dose.
- Check whether the front-label number is NMN or the whole formula. A “1,200 mg” complex and a “1,000 mg” single ingredient are different purchases.
- Price a blend on what you would otherwise buy separately. Scoring a six-active formula on one active is only fair if you never wanted the other five.
For the same method applied across more brands, our guide to the best NMN supplements ranks eight products on cost per 500 mg, and our explainer on what 1000mg NMN labels actually contain covers the bigger front-label numbers.
How to check a liposomal NMN label before you buy
The word liposomal is not defined on supplement labels, so it is worth checking what sits behind it. Five things to look for:
- A named phospholipid source. A liposome needs phospholipids. All three liposomal products here list sunflower lecithin in their ingredients. If a “liposomal” label names no phospholipid at all, ask the brand what forms the liposome.
- NMN per capsule, not just per serving. Liposomal capsules often hold less NMN each, so a serving can mean two capsules or more.
- A certificate of analysis tied to a batch. The most useful reports give an NMN potency result for the batch you can buy. Renue lists them by batch number, and ProHealth links a lot-specific report for NMN Pro 500.
- Absorption multipliers. A claim such as “increased over 100 times” should come with a human study you can read. None of the liposomal products here links to one that tested its own product.
- Directions. The ProHealth and Codeage labels say their NMN can be taken with or without food. Follow the label on the bottle you buy.
Which format should you choose?
- You want NMN in the trial-tested format at the lowest capsule cost: Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg, one capsule a day, $0.56 per 500 mg.
- You want liposomal and cost matters: Codeage Liposomal NMN 1000, at $0.75 per 500 mg.
- You want liposomal with batch-numbered lab reports: Renue By Science Liposomal NMN Capsules, at $1.44 per 500 mg.
- You want the lowest cost of all and don’t mind powder: Renue By Science NMN Pure Powder, at $0.27 per 500 mg.
- You want NMN plus co-actives in one formula: Eternal Elixir NMN Advanced Longevity Complex 1200mg.
- You are not sure NMN is the precursor you want: nicotinamide riboside reaches NAD+ by a different route. Eternal Elixir Nicotinamide Riboside 500mg is the single-ingredient option in our range, and our NMN vs nicotinamide riboside comparison, NR supplement guide and Tru Niagen review cover that choice.
Safety: who should check with a doctor first
In the randomized trials above, NMN was well tolerated at up to 900 mg a day for 60 days, and at 250 mg a day for 12 weeks. There is no long-term safety data in people, so the honest position is that use beyond a few months has not been studied.
The ProHealth labels advise checking with a doctor before use if you are pregnant or nursing, under 18, or being treated for a medical condition. Codeage’s label adds anyone taking prescription or over-the-counter medicines, and says to stop two weeks before surgery. Talk to your doctor before starting NMN in any format if any of those apply to you, or if you take any prescription medicine.
The verdict: what to buy if you came here for liposomal NMN
The liposomal question matters less than the dose question. Every product here delivers nicotinamide mononucleotide. Leaving aside our six-active complex, the cheapest and the dearest capsule routes to 500 mg a day cost $16.66 and $54.92 a month, and the published evidence that the dearer end delivers more is one five-per-group pilot of a product none of these brands sells.
Our pick: Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg at $49.99. One capsule, 500 mg of NMN, 90 capsules per bottle, $0.56 per 500 mg, in the format the published trials used.
If you want liposomal at the lowest cost per milligram: Codeage Liposomal NMN 1000 at $89.99 for 60 servings.
If you want liposomal with the best documentation: Renue By Science Liposomal NMN Capsules at $64.95. The batch-matched reports are worth more than the liposome.
If you are building a stack rather than buying one ingredient: Eternal Elixir NMN Advanced Longevity Complex 1200mg at $64.99. If you’d rather keep separate bottles, NMN is often paired with resveratrol, and our NMN vs resveratrol guide explains how the two differ. Our own Trans-Resveratrol 600mg is in the same range.

Frequently asked questions about liposomal NMN supplements
What is the best NMN supplement, liposomal or regular?
Our pick is Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg, a standard capsule with 500 mg of NMN in each capsule, 90 capsules per bottle, at $0.56 per 500 mg. Standard oral NMN is the form tested in the published randomized trials. If you want liposomal, Codeage Liposomal NMN 1000 is the cheapest per milligram and Renue By Science is the best documented.
Add NMN 500mg to cart · $49.99
Is liposomal NMN better than regular NMN capsules?
It has not been shown to be. PubMed lists no human trial of liposomal NMN taken by mouth. The one human comparison, published outside PubMed in 2025, had five men per group, and its liposomal product is not sold by the brands compared here. Plain oral NMN has raised blood NAD+ markers in several randomized, placebo-controlled trials.
Is liposomal NMN worth the extra cost?
On the numbers here, liposomal NMN costs $0.75 to $1.83 per 500 mg, against $0.56 for our standard capsule and $0.27 for powder. The premium buys a delivery claim that has not been tested in a proper trial. If the format matters to you, buy the cheapest liposomal per milligram or the one with batch reports. If the premium would stop you taking NMN every day, the standard capsule makes more sense.
How much NMN should you take per day?
Follow the label on the bottle you buy, because serving sizes vary widely: the products here range from 300 mg to 1,000 mg per serving. Our NMN 500mg is one capsule a day. Randomized trials have tested 250 mg to 900 mg a day for up to 12 weeks. Check with your doctor first if you are pregnant, nursing or take prescription medicine.
What does liposomal mean on an NMN label?
A liposome is a microscopic sphere made of phospholipids, the same family of fats that forms cell membranes. Putting NMN inside one is meant to protect it during digestion and release it gradually. Check that the ingredients name a phospholipid source, usually sunflower lecithin, and whether the front-label figure is NMN or the whole formula.
Is sublingual NMN the same as liposomal NMN?
No. Sublingual NMN is held under the tongue so part of the dose can be absorbed through the lining of the mouth. Liposomal NMN is swallowed and relies on its phospholipid shell during digestion. Renue By Science, which sells both, describes sublingual as faster acting and liposomal as longer lasting. Whether a product is sublingual tells you nothing about whether it is liposomal.
Should you take NMN with food?
The ProHealth and Codeage labels say their NMN can be taken with or without food, and both ProHealth labels suggest the morning. The randomized trials gave NMN once or twice a day, some after breakfast. Follow the directions on your own bottle.
