Disclosure: Eternal Elixir makes supplements, and two of our products appear in this comparison under the Eternal Elixir name. Eternal Elixir makes NMN 500mg, and it is our pick. Every figure for the other products comes from their own product pages and supplement facts panels, read in September 2026, and every study figure comes from the published paper. No brand paid to be included. Here is how we write and review content.
Quick answer
Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg is our pick. Its label serving is one 500 mg capsule for $0.56 a day, just below the 600 mg dose that did best in the only trial that compared doses. If you are aiming for 1,000 mg a day, talk to your doctor first.
If you want a full gram in one labeled serving, ProHealth Essentials NMN 1000 is the cheapest here at $1.33 a day. On the evidence, 1,000 mg a day has been well tolerated in trials of up to four weeks, but it has not beaten 600 mg in the one trial that compared doses head to head.
Key numbers
- A labeled 1,000 mg serving costs $1.33 to $2.87 a day, and up to $4.33 on a like-for-like basis for the blends.
- Three of the six products declare a full 1,000 mg of NMN in one labeled serving.
- NMN makes up 40% to 100% of the active milligrams on these labels.
- In the only trial that compared NMN doses in healthy middle-aged adults, blood NAD and walking distance were highest at 600 mg and 900 mg a day, and the authors put peak efficacy at 600 mg (Yi et al., 2023).
Best 1000mg NMN supplements 2026: the six routes compared
Every row is converted to the same unit: US dollars per 1,000 mg of declared NMN. Prices are one-bottle prices from each seller’s own product page as of Sep 2026, before subscription discounts and shipping. Two rows cannot reach exactly 1,000 mg per serving, so their figure is scaled to a 1,000 mg basis and marked “equivalent”. Our NMN 500mg is a one-capsule, 500 mg serving, so we show its cost per serving.
| Rank | Product | NMN per labeled serving | Capsules per serving | Price | Cost per 1,000 mg of NMN | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg | 500 mg | 1 | $49.99 / 90 capsules | $0.56 per 500 mg serving | A 500 mg day of plain NMN |
| 2 | ProHealth Essentials NMN 1000 | 1,000 mg | 2 | $39.95 / 60 capsules | $1.33 | Cheapest full gram in one labeled serving |
| 3 | Codeage Liposomal NMN 1000 | 1,000 mg, plus 42.5 mg TMG | 2 | $89.99 / 120 capsules | $1.50 | A liposomal format |
| 4 | ProHealth NMN Pro Complete | 1,000 mg, plus 1,000 mg trans-resveratrol and 500 mg TMG | 4 | $85.95 / 120 capsules | $2.87 | NMN, resveratrol and TMG in one serving |
| 5 | Wonderfeel Youngr NMN | 900 mg, plus four small co-actives | 2 | $88.00 / 60 capsules | $3.26 equivalent ($2.93 a serving) | NMN with small co-actives |
| 6 | Eternal Elixir NMN Advanced Longevity Complex 1200mg | 500 mg, plus five other actives | 2 | $64.99 / 60 capsules | $4.33 equivalent ($2.17 a serving) | Six actives in one serving |
The cheapest full gram in one labeled serving is ProHealth Essentials NMN 1000 at $1.33 a day, not a bottle with a bigger number printed on the front. The two blends at the bottom are not bad value for what they are. They simply spend part of your money on other ingredients.

Why a “1000mg” NMN label is not always 1,000 mg of NMN
The most useful habit when you shop for a 1000mg NMN supplement is to read the supplement facts panel before the front of the bottle. On multi-ingredient formulas, the big front number is often the combined weight of every active in a serving, and the NMN inside can be half of it or less.
That is not dishonest in itself. A formula with NMN, trimethylglycine (TMG) and trans-resveratrol really does contain the total it prints. The problem is that a shopper looking for a 1,000 mg NMN dose reasonably reads “1,200mg” as 1,200 mg of NMN. Our own NMN Advanced Longevity Complex lists each active on its product page and describes the 1,200 mg as total actives, of which 500 mg is NMN.
Here is how much of each label’s active weight is NMN:
- Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg and ProHealth Essentials NMN 1000: 100%. NMN is the only active.
- Codeage Liposomal NMN 1000: about 96% (1,000 mg of NMN and 42.5 mg of TMG).
- Wonderfeel Youngr NMN: about 85%. Each capsule lists 450 mg of NMN, 2 mg of ergothioneine, 50 mg of trans-resveratrol, 25 mg of olive fruit extract and 10 mcg of vitamin D3.
- Eternal Elixir VitaSolutions NMN + Resveratrol 1100mg: about 45% (500 mg of NMN and 600 mg of trans-resveratrol).
- Eternal Elixir NMN Advanced Longevity Complex: about 42% (500 mg of NMN in 1,200 mg of actives).
- ProHealth NMN Pro Complete: 40% (1,000 mg of NMN in 2,500 mg of actives).
A higher share is not automatically better. It tells you which number you are paying for. Our supplement dose gap report looks at the same label-versus-dose problem across the whole aisle, and our guide to the best NMN supplements ranks single-ingredient NMN bottles at every dose, not just 1,000 mg.
Does the evidence support 1,000 mg of NMN a day?
This is the question most listings skip. These are the human trials we could verify that tested NMN at or near a gram a day, or compared doses:
| Study | Participants | Daily NMN dose and length | Main finding |
|---|---|---|---|
| Yi et al., 2023, GeroScience | 80 healthy middle-aged adults | Placebo, 300 mg, 600 mg or 900 mg once daily for 60 days | Blood NAD rose in every NMN group and was highest at 600 mg and 900 mg. Six-minute walking distance improved at all three doses. No safety issues |
| Liao et al., 2021, J Int Soc Sports Nutr | 48 recreational runners | Placebo, 300 mg, 600 mg or 1,200 mg for 6 weeks of training | Oxygen use at the ventilatory thresholds rose more at 600 mg and 1,200 mg than with placebo. No change in VO2max in any group |
| Christen et al., 2026, Nature Metabolism | 65 healthy adults analyzed | 1,000 mg of NMN, 1,000 mg of NR, 500 mg of nicotinamide or placebo for 14 days | NMN raised whole-blood NAD by 43.1 µM over placebo, comparable to NR at 49.4 µM. Open-label design |
| Pencina et al., 2023, J Clin Endocrinol Metab | 30 overweight adults aged 45 and over | 2,000 mg a day (two 500 mg tablets twice daily) for 28 days | Circulating NAD rose substantially. Adverse events were similar to placebo. No difference in muscle strength or aerobic capacity |
| Fukamizu et al., 2022, Scientific Reports | 31 healthy adults aged 20 to 65 | 1,250 mg once daily for up to 4 weeks | A safety study: no changes beyond normal variation in blood, urine and body measures, and no severe adverse events |
Read plainly, the trials support three things. First, 1,000 mg a day raises blood NAD, as lower doses do. Second, doses from 1,000 mg to 2,000 mg a day were well tolerated in studies lasting two to four weeks. Third, more has not clearly meant better. The Yi authors concluded that efficacy, measured by blood NAD and walking performance, reached its highest at 600 mg a day, and the runners in the Liao trial gained about as much at 600 mg as at 1,200 mg.
Several of these trials have industry ties, which the papers disclose. The Yi trial’s first author works for an NMN ingredient supplier, and the Christen trial was run by Nestlé Research. None of them tested lifespan, and none ran longer than 60 days.
Where does our product sit? Our NMN 500mg label serving is one 500 mg capsule, which is just below the 600 mg dose that did best in the Yi trial. If you want the dose range with the most human data behind it, 500 mg to 600 mg a day is it, and a 1,000 mg target is a reasonable choice rather than a proven upgrade. Our guide to NMN safety covers the side-effect data in more detail.
Evidence level: strong for raising blood NAD, moderate and short-term for safety at 1,000 mg or more, and weak for any added benefit of 1,000 mg over 600 mg.
How to take 1,000 mg of NMN
The trials give a few practical pointers, though none tested timing directly:
- Once a day works. The Yi, Christen and Fukamizu trials all gave NMN once daily, and blood NAD rose in each. The Pencina trial split its 2,000 mg into two doses, so splitting is also an option.
- Morning is the common choice. ProHealth’s labels say to take their servings preferably in the morning, and Wonderfeel’s directions are two capsules in the morning. No trial has compared morning with evening doses.
- Food is optional. The ProHealth labels say with or without food, and none of the trials above required a meal.
- Start lower if you are new to it. A 500 mg serving for a week or two lets you check how you feel. Ask your doctor before moving up to 1,000 mg, and keep to the label serving of whatever product you use.
- Check with your doctor if you take prescription medicines, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are under 18. The trials enrolled adults, most of them healthy.
How we ranked these 1000mg NMN supplements
We did not lab-test these products. We read every live product page and supplement facts panel, took the declared NMN per serving out of each formula, and converted each price to the cost of 1,000 mg of NMN. Eternal Elixir makes NMN 500mg, and it sits first as our pick. It is a 500 mg product rather than a labeled gram, so we show its cost per serving. The other five are ordered by cost per 1,000 mg of declared NMN, with the blends scaled to a gram for a fair comparison.
Cost per gram is not the only thing that matters, so each entry also says who the product suits and who it doesn’t. ProHealth Essentials is the cheapest way to get the gram in one labeled serving, and Codeage and Wonderfeel offer formats we don’t.
1. Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg: our pick for a 500 mg day
Our pick is not a 1,000 mg product. It is a single-ingredient 500 mg capsule, because the trial data are strongest at 500 mg to 600 mg a day. Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg declares 500 mg of beta-nicotinamide mononucleotide per capsule, one capsule per label serving and 90 capsules per bottle, with rice flour and a cellulose capsule as the only other ingredients.
At $49.99 for 90 capsules, one capsule costs about $0.56, and a bottle lasts 90 days at the label serving of one capsule a day. Buying two bottles saves 10% on our site, and US shipping is free over $100.
The trade-off is that you get NMN and nothing else. If you also want TMG or resveratrol, you buy them separately. The upside of that is control: you can add or drop a second ingredient without replacing your NMN. Our product page is plain about the evidence. It says human studies have measured NAD changes, and that long-term healthy-aging outcomes are not established.
- Who it suits: anyone who wants a 500 mg day of plain NMN, not a blend.
- Who it doesn’t suit: anyone who wants a full gram in a single labeled serving, or TMG in the same capsule.
Price: $49.99 for 90 capsules, or $0.56 a day at the label serving.
2. ProHealth Essentials NMN 1000: best value for a full gram in one serving
ProHealth Longevity sells several NMN lines, and its Essentials range is the budget one. The supplement facts panel for Essentials NMN 1000 lists a 2-capsule serving with 1,000 mg of Nexergy NMN, 30 servings per bottle, and only a hypromellose capsule and rice flour as other ingredients. The directions say two capsules a day, with or without food, preferably in the morning. The product page links a certificate of analysis.
At $39.95 for 60 capsules, the gram costs $1.33 a day. That is the cheapest full gram in a single labeled serving here. The page also claims the Nexergy form is amorphous and dissolves faster than crystalline NMN, but we found no human absorption study for that form.
- Who it suits: buyers who want exactly one labeled 1,000 mg serving from a single bottle at a low price.
- Who it doesn’t suit: anyone who wants the option of a 500 mg day from a single capsule.
Price: $39.95 for 60 capsules direct from ProHealth.
3. Codeage Liposomal NMN 1000: pick for a liposomal format
Codeage puts its NMN in what it calls Helix liposomal delivery, with phospholipids from sunflower lecithin. The supplement facts panel lists a 2-capsule serving with 1,000 mg of NMN and 42.5 mg of betaine anhydrous (TMG), and 60 servings per bottle, which is 120 capsules.
At $89.99 a bottle, the gram costs $1.50 a day, which is reasonable for a liposomal product. The catch is the evidence. A PubMed search in September 2026 found no human trial comparing liposomal NMN capsules with standard capsules, so the liposome is a formulation choice rather than a proven advantage. The 42.5 mg of TMG is a small amount next to the 500 mg in ProHealth’s Pro Complete. Our Codeage review and our comparison of liposomal NMN versus capsules go further.
- Who it suits: buyers who prefer a liposomal product and want two months of daily grams in one bottle.
- Who it doesn’t suit: buyers who want to pay only for what has been shown in trials.
Price: $89.99 for 120 capsules direct from Codeage.
4. ProHealth NMN Pro Complete: pick for NMN, resveratrol and TMG together
ProHealth’s Pro Complete is a three-ingredient formula. The supplement facts panel lists a 4-capsule serving with 1,000 mg of Uthever NMN, 1,000 mg of Veri-te trans-resveratrol and 500 mg of TMG, and 30 servings per bottle. The directions say four capsules a day, with or without food.
At $85.95 for 120 capsules, a serving costs $2.87. The TMG is there on the reasoning that NMN metabolism uses methyl groups. That is a mechanistic argument rather than something outcome trials in people have shown, so treat it as a formulation choice. The 1,000 mg of resveratrol is fixed, so you can’t lower it without lowering the NMN too.
- Who it suits: buyers who want a gram of NMN plus resveratrol and TMG from one bottle, and don’t mind four capsules.
- Who it doesn’t suit: anyone who wants to adjust the resveratrol separately, or who prefers fewer capsules.
If the resveratrol is the part you want, compare it with the pairings in our guide to the best NMN and resveratrol supplements. Price: $85.95 for 120 capsules direct from ProHealth.
5. Wonderfeel Youngr NMN: pick for NMN with small co-actives
Wonderfeel’s Youngr gets close to a gram while keeping its other ingredients small. Each capsule lists 450 mg of NMN, 2 mg of ergothioneine, 50 mg of trans-resveratrol, 25 mg of olive fruit extract (40% hydroxytyrosol) and 10 mcg of vitamin D3, and the directions are two capsules a day, so a serving has 900 mg of NMN. The bottle holds 60 vegan capsules, a 30-day supply.
At $88.00 one-time, a serving costs $2.93, which is $3.26 per gram of NMN on a like-for-like basis. A subscription lowers the price to $73.00. Wonderfeel’s page cites the Yi trial and says it partnered with the authors. Our Wonderfeel Youngr NMN review covers the formula and the brand’s lab certificates.
- Who it suits: buyers who want 900 mg of NMN with a few extras in a two-capsule serving, and value a label that is mostly NMN.
- Who it doesn’t suit: buyers focused on cost per gram, since only our six-active blend costs more per gram here.
Price: $88.00 for 60 capsules direct from Wonderfeel, or $73.00 on subscription.
6. Eternal Elixir NMN Advanced Longevity Complex 1200mg: pick for six actives in one serving
This is our own multi-ingredient formula, and on cost per gram of NMN it is the most expensive row in the table. That is because NMN is only part of what you are buying. Each 2-capsule serving lists 500 mg of NMN, 250 mg of TMG, 200 mg of pterostilbene, 100 mg of trans-resveratrol, 100 mg of quercetin phytosome and 50 mg of apigenin, for 1,200 mg of actives in 60 vegan capsules.
At $64.99 for 30 servings, a serving costs $2.17, which scales to $4.33 per gram of NMN. Judged as a single-bottle stack rather than as a 1,000 mg NMN product, the maths reads differently, and our guide to the best longevity supplement stacks is where that comparison belongs. It will not give you a gram of NMN. If plain NMN is what you want, our NMN 500mg at #1 is the better buy from our range.
- Who it suits: buyers who want NMN, TMG and four plant compounds in two capsules and are happy with 500 mg of NMN.
- Who it doesn’t suit: anyone chasing 1,000 mg of NMN, since doubling the serving doubles the other five actives too.
Price: $64.99 for 60 capsules.
Liposomal, sublingual or plain capsules?
Almost every capsule on this list uses beta-nicotinamide mononucleotide, the form used in the human trials above. Liposomal, sublingual and “amorphous” versions are sold on absorption claims. We found no published human trial in PubMed comparing any of them head to head with standard capsules on blood NAD, so the declared dose and a lot certificate are more useful signals than the delivery format. Every trial in our evidence table used oral capsules or tablets.
Also in our range
Our VitaSolutions NMN + Resveratrol 1100mg is the cheapest bottle we sell with NMN in it, at $35.00. It pairs 500 mg of NMN with 600 mg of trans-resveratrol per labeled serving. Its listing does not state a capsule count, so we can’t give a cost per serving, and it is not a 1,000 mg NMN product. We sell Trans-Resveratrol 600mg ($59.99 for 90 capsules) and Nicotinamide Riboside 500mg ($59.99 for 60 capsules) as single ingredients if you want to build a routine yourself. Our comparison of NMN and nicotinamide riboside covers the Christen head-to-head trial in detail.
Frequently asked questions about 1000mg NMN supplements
Is 1000 mg of NMN too much?
Not on current evidence for short-term use in healthy adults. Trials have given 1,000 mg a day for 14 days, 1,250 mg a day for four weeks and 2,000 mg a day for 28 days without safety problems beyond what placebo groups showed. What the evidence does not show is extra benefit above 600 mg: in the one trial that compared doses in healthy middle-aged adults, blood NAD and walking distance peaked at 600 mg and 900 mg. Talk to your doctor first if you take prescription medicines or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
What is the number 1 NMN supplement?
Our pick is Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg: one 500 mg capsule a day for $0.56, just below the 600 mg dose that did best in the only trial that compared doses. If you want the gram in one labeled serving, ProHealth Essentials NMN 1000 is the cheapest at $1.33 a day.
Which brand of NMN does David Sinclair recommend?
We found no brand endorsement on his Harvard lab website, so treat any listing that claims one with suspicion. He is a co-author of one trial in our table, which used MIB-626, a 500 mg NMN tablet from Metro International Biotech, at 2,000 mg a day for 28 days. Judge a bottle on its declared NMN per serving, its lab certificate and its price per gram instead.
Can you take two 500mg NMN capsules instead of one 1,000mg serving?
Follow the label on your bottle. The label serving of Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg is one capsule, so we don’t suggest doubling it. If you want 1,000 mg a day, ask your doctor first, or choose a product whose label serving is 1,000 mg, such as ProHealth Essentials NMN 1000 at $1.33 a day.
Does a “1,200mg” NMN label mean 1,200 mg of NMN?
Usually not. On multi-ingredient formulas that number is the combined weight of every active. Our NMN Advanced Longevity Complex 1200mg, for example, has 500 mg of NMN within 1,200 mg of actives, and its product page lists each one. Find the line that names nicotinamide mononucleotide and read the milligrams next to it.
How much does 1,000 mg of NMN cost per month in the US?
From the products priced here, a full 1,000 mg a day costs $39.95 a month with ProHealth Essentials NMN 1000, about $45 with Codeage Liposomal NMN 1000 and $85.95 with ProHealth NMN Pro Complete, which also includes resveratrol and TMG.
Is NMN or NR better at 1,000 mg?
They performed about the same in the first head-to-head human trial. At 1,000 mg a day for 14 days, NMN raised whole-blood NAD by 43.1 µM over placebo and nicotinamide riboside by 49.4 µM, a difference the authors described as comparable (Christen et al., 2026). The trial was open-label and short. Our nicotinamide riboside comparison covers NR products.
Is NMN worth taking?
Oral NMN reliably raises blood NAD, and a few trials have reported modest changes in walking distance or aerobic thresholds. No human trial has shown that it extends lifespan, and the longest dose trial lasted 60 days. Whether $39.95 to $85.95 a month is worth it for those results is your call, and the honest answer is that the long-term payoff is unknown.
The verdict: which 1000mg NMN route should you buy?
Our pick: Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg. One 500 mg capsule a day costs $0.56, and the human data are strongest at 500 mg to 600 mg. It is the bottle for anyone who wants plain NMN rather than a blend. If you are considering 1,000 mg a day, talk to your doctor first.
If you want a full gram in one labeled serving: ProHealth Essentials NMN 1000 at $1.33 a day, or Codeage Liposomal NMN 1000 at $1.50 a day if you prefer a liposomal product.
If you want NMN with resveratrol and TMG in one bottle: ProHealth NMN Pro Complete at $2.87 a day, accepting four capsules and a fixed gram of resveratrol.
If you are still choosing a dose: the human data are strongest at 500 mg to 600 mg a day, and 1,000 mg is a reasonable target rather than a proven upgrade. Starting at 500 mg and asking your doctor before going higher is the sensible order. Our guides to the best NAD+ supplements, NMN versus resveratrol, mitochondrial supplements and the best longevity supplements cover the adjacent choices.
