NOVOS Labs Review 2026: Core, Boost, and the Cost

NOVOS Labs Review 2026: Core, Boost, and the Cost – Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg bottle

Edited by Elaine Fletcher, Researcher

Quick answer: This NOVOS Labs review covers the brand’s two main supplements. NOVOS Core is a 12-ingredient longevity drink mix at $109 for a 30-serving box, with every dose on the label and a six-month trial that is still under peer review. NOVOS Boost is a single-ingredient NMN capsule at $44 for 7,500 mg of NMN, and NOVOS says Boost itself has not been clinically studied. Core is a reasonable buy if you want many ingredients in one drink. For NMN alone, our pick is Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg: 45,000 mg of NMN in a 90-capsule bottle for $49.99, about one-fifth of Boost’s price per gram.

Eternal Elixir makes NMN 500mg, and it is our pick for readers who came here for NMN. We compete with NOVOS, so every NOVOS figure below is taken from the company’s own product pages, read on September 25, 2026, and we did not test NOVOS products ourselves. You can read how we write and review content.

NOVOS Labs review: what the brand sells

NOVOS sells several products, including a bar, daily chews called Vital and an at-home biological age test. This review covers the two supplements most shoppers compare: Core and Boost. They do very different jobs.

  • NOVOS Core is a powdered drink mix in single-serving packets, sold in orange, tropical passion and unflavored versions. It contains 12 ingredients and no NMN.
  • NOVOS Boost is a capsule containing one active ingredient, nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN), which the body uses to make NAD+.

So if you arrived from a search for an NMN product, the one to compare is Boost. If you want a broad formula in one drink, the one to look at is Core. Our guide to the best NMN supplements covers the NMN category in more depth, and our roundup of NAD+ supplements covers NMN and its main alternative, nicotinamide riboside.

NOVOS Core: the 12 ingredients and their doses

The NOVOS Core Supplement Facts panel lists these amounts per serving:

IngredientAmount per serving
Glycine2,000 mg
Malate (as magnesium malate)1,700 mg
Calcium alpha-ketoglutarate (Ca-AKG)1,100 mg, providing 231 mg of calcium
Glucosamine sulfate1,000 mg
Magnesium (as magnesium malate)304 mg
Rhodiola rosea root extract300 mg
L-theanine150 mg
Hyaluronic acid100 mg
Fisetin100 mg
Organic ginger root extract100 mg
Vitamin C100 mg
Pterostilbene50 mg
Lithium aspartate20 mg, providing 1 mg of lithium

That is 13 lines for 12 ingredients, because magnesium and malate both come from magnesium malate. The flavored versions are sweetened with stevia, and the unflavored version is not. There is no proprietary blend, so you can see exactly how much of each ingredient you get. That is a real strength, and many multi-ingredient formulas do not do it.

Two lines deserve a closer look. The marketing copy lists “Micro-dosed Lithium 20mg,” while the panel says the 20 mg of lithium aspartate provides 1 mg of lithium. If you track lithium for any reason, the number that counts is 1 mg. The second is Ca-AKG. At 1,100 mg it is one of the larger doses in the formula, more than the 500 mg in a single capsule of our Ca-AKG 500mg. Our Ca-AKG supplement comparison lists the doses other brands use.

The 100 mg of hyaluronic acid sits alongside the doses covered in our hyaluronic acid supplement guide, and the 50 mg of pterostilbene is a small amount next to single-ingredient products, which our pterostilbene dosage guide covers.

To use Core, NOVOS says to mix one packet into water once a day. Most of its customers take it in the morning, and some prefer the evening. The page suggests starting with half a packet for the first week if you are sensitive to supplements.

NOVOS Boost: the NMN capsule

NOVOS Boost provides 250 mg of NMN in a two-capsule serving, and a bottle holds 60 capsules, or 7,500 mg of NMN. NOVOS describes a bottle as a one-month supply. The page also says “250 mg to 500 mg a day is the range we recommend,” and at 500 mg a day a bottle lasts 15 days, which doubles the monthly cost.

On quality, the page gives specific claims: more than 99% pure NMN, with the remaining impurities listed as nicotinamide, NR and water. It names the testing lab as Light Labs, dated July 2026, and says lot-level results are published. The capsules are listed as vegan, sugar-free and gluten-free, and NOVOS says Boost is made in the US in cGMP facilities.

The page is also candid about its evidence. Its FAQ says NOVOS Boost itself has not been clinically studied and that the research it cites was done on NMN as an ingredient. One cited walking-distance result on the page comes from a study at 600 mg to 900 mg a day, and the page notes that Boost provides 250 mg per serving.

What NOVOS costs in 2026

These are the prices on NOVOS product pages as of Sep 2026. Subscription prices apply to monthly delivery or to six or twelve units paid upfront.

ProductOne-timeMonthly subscription6 upfront12 upfront
NOVOS Core, 30-serving box$109$98 per box$93 per box$79 per box
NOVOS Boost, 60 capsules$44$39.50 per bottle$37 per bottle$32 per bottle

Per day, Core costs $3.63 at the one-time price and $2.63 on the twelve-box plan. A three-packet Core sample pack is $15.00, which is a sensible way to try the flavors before you commit. Buying one box of Core and one bottle of Boost at one-time prices comes to $153. NOVOS says Boost may qualify for HSA or FSA reimbursement through its partner Truemed.

NOVOS Boost vs Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg: cost per gram

NMN products quote different serving sizes, so the fair comparison is price per gram of NMN in the bottle. Prices are as of Sep 2026.

ProductPriceNMN per bottlePrice per gram of NMN
Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg, 90 capsules$49.9945,000 mg$1.11
NOVOS Boost, 60 capsules, one-time$447,500 mg$5.87
NOVOS Boost, 60 capsules, 12-bottle plan$327,500 mg$4.27
NOVOS Core, 30-serving box$109NoneNot applicable

For $5.99 more than a one-time bottle of Boost, a bottle of our NMN holds six times as much NMN. Even on the twelve-bottle plan, Boost costs close to four times as much per gram. Buying two or more bottles of ours takes 10% off two, 15% off three and 20% off five, and US orders over $100 ship free.

What Boost offers for the higher price is a named testing lab, a stated purity figure and the option to bundle it with Core in one subscription. If those matter to you, they are real points in its favor. If price per gram of NMN is what you are comparing, the gap is large, and it grows at higher daily amounts, which our 1,000 mg NMN supplement comparison covers.

The evidence: NMN research, and NOVOS’s own studies

Human NMN trials

In a randomized, double-blind trial at the University of Tokyo published in 2022, 42 healthy men aged 65 or older were assigned to 250 mg of NMN a day or a placebo (Igarashi and colleagues). A dosing mix-up at the 6-week visit meant the 12-week results were analyzed for only 20 of them. Blood NAD+ and related compounds rose significantly on NMN. Gait speed and left-hand grip strength improved, but only at nominal significance, and the authors said those results need larger studies. Body composition did not change. The study was funded by Mitsubishi Corporation Life Sciences, which supplied the NMN, and three of the authors worked there.

In a 10-week randomized trial published in Science in 2021, 25 postmenopausal women with excess body weight and raised blood sugar took 250 mg of NMN a day (13 women) or a placebo (12 women) (Yoshino and colleagues). Insulin sensitivity in muscle, measured with a clamp test, rose on NMN and did not change on placebo.

Evidence level: limited. Both trials are small and short, and both used 250 mg a day, the same amount as one Boost serving. They show NMN raises NAD+ in the blood and point to changes in muscle. They do not show that any finished NMN product, ours or NOVOS’s, slows aging. Our article on NMN safety in human trials covers side effects and long-term use.

How NOVOS describes its own research

For Core, NOVOS points to a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial of 61 healthy adults aged 40 and over who took one serving a day for six months, with a senior author at the University of Surrey. NOVOS reports that flow-mediated dilation, a measure of how well arteries widen, improved by 2.9% compared with placebo. The page labels the results preliminary, with the manuscript under peer review and posted as an SSRN preprint.

The Core page also cites a skin-firmness pilot study in 4 people, which it calls small and preliminary, and a customer survey in which 81% of customers said they felt a difference within two weeks. NOVOS labels that survey as self-reported, so treat it as customer feedback rather than a trial result.

Evidence level for Core: early. A placebo-controlled trial of the finished formula is more than most multi-ingredient products have. Until it passes peer review, it is a promising preprint. The ingredient-level research, such as the NMN trials above, does not transfer to Core, because Core contains no NMN.

Building your own routine instead of NOVOS Core

Some buyers prefer single-ingredient products so they can choose each dose. We make several of the ingredients longevity buyers most often compare, though not all 12 in Core:

Buying single ingredients is not automatically cheaper than Core, and it means more capsules. Core includes glycine, glucosamine, rhodiola, L-theanine and ginger, which we do not sell. The choice comes down to whether you want one drink or control over each dose.

Who NOVOS Labs suits, and who should look elsewhere

NOVOS Core suits buyers who want many longevity ingredients in one morning drink, like seeing every dose on the label and are comfortable paying $2.63 to $3.63 a day for the convenience.

NOVOS Boost suits buyers already subscribed to Core who want NMN in the same delivery, or who put a named testing lab ahead of price.

Look elsewhere if you mainly want NMN and compare on price per gram. That is where our NMN 500mg is our pick. Our longevity supplement comparison walks through where each format makes sense, and our Do Not Age review covers another brand that competes on bottle size and dose. For a wider look at how label doses compare with trial doses, see our supplement dose gap report.

NOVOS Labs review: frequently asked questions

Does NOVOS really work?

It depends on what you want it to do. NMN, the one ingredient in Boost, has small randomized human trials showing it raises blood NAD+. NOVOS says Boost itself has not been clinically studied. Core has a six-month placebo-controlled trial of the finished formula, and NOVOS describes the results as preliminary and under peer review. No supplement has been shown to slow human aging.

How much does NOVOS cost?

As of September 2026, NOVOS Core is $109 for a one-time 30-serving box, or $98, $93 or $79 per box on monthly, six-box and twelve-box plans. NOVOS Boost is $44 for a one-time bottle, or $39.50, $37 or $32 per bottle on the same plans. A three-packet Core sample pack is $15.00.

Does NOVOS Core contain NMN?

No. Core’s 12 ingredients do not include NMN or any other NAD+ precursor. NOVOS sells NMN separately as Boost.

How long does a bottle of NOVOS Boost last?

A bottle holds 60 capsules, or 7,500 mg of NMN. At the 250 mg serving it lasts 30 days. At 500 mg a day, the top of NOVOS’s recommended range, it lasts 15 days.

Can I cancel a NOVOS subscription?

Yes. The NOVOS product pages say you can pause, skip or cancel a subscription from your account, up to one business day before your renewal date. The lower per-box and per-bottle prices on the six- and twelve-unit plans are paid upfront, so check the terms before you choose one.

What are the potential side effects of NOVOS?

Neither product page lists side effects. The Core page suggests people who are sensitive to supplements start with half a packet for the first week, and it says Core contains no caffeine. In the NMN trials above, 250 mg a day was well tolerated. If you are pregnant, nursing, taking prescription medicine or managing a health condition, talk to your doctor before starting any of these products, ours included.

Is NOVOS Boost good value compared with other NMN supplements?

On price per gram of NMN, no. At one-time prices Boost costs $5.87 per gram, while our NMN 500mg costs $1.11 per gram. The difference pays for NOVOS’s named testing lab, its stated purity figure and the option to bundle Boost with Core.

What is the best alternative to NOVOS Boost?

Our pick is Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg, which we make. It declares 500 mg of NMN per capsule on the front label, holds 90 capsules, or 45,000 mg of NMN, and costs $49.99, about $1.11 per gram. Whichever product you choose, compare price per gram of NMN rather than price per bottle.

Our verdict on NOVOS Labs

NOVOS publishes every dose, names its testing lab and labels its evidence more carefully than many brands. Core is a convenient broad formula at a premium price, with a finished-formula trial that is promising but not yet peer-reviewed. Boost is pure NMN at a high price per gram. If NMN is what you are after, our NMN 500mg gives you six times the NMN of a Boost bottle for $5.99 more.
