BulkSupplements Review 2026: Cheap Powder, Real Trade-Offs

BulkSupplements Review 2026: Cheap Powder, Real Trade-Offs – Eternal Elixir Spermidine 10mg bottle

Edited by Elaine Fletcher, Researcher

Quick answer: BulkSupplements is a real Nevada company, and its powders cost far less per gram than our capsules for NMN, resveratrol and berberine. The 100 g NMN pouch is $27.97, about $0.28 per gram of NMN. The catch is the format. The label gives the serving as a quarter teaspoon, “about 500mg”, so an accurate dose needs a milligram scale, and the brand’s NMN capsules don’t say how much NMN each one holds. If you want NMN you can take without weighing anything, our pick is Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg: 500 mg of NMN in every capsule and 90 capsules for $49.99.

Eternal Elixir makes NMN 500mg, Trans-Resveratrol 600mg, TUDCA 500mg and Berberine HCl 500mg, the capsules we set against BulkSupplements below, and NMN 500mg is our pick. That makes us a competitor, so read this as a competitor’s review. We did not buy or lab-test BulkSupplements products. Every BulkSupplements price, serving size and policy here comes from its own product pages, about page, shipping policy and refund policy, read in September 2026. Here is how we write and review content.

BulkSupplements review 2026: who runs it and what it sells

BulkSupplements.com is the trading name of Hard Eight Nutrition LLC, based in Henderson, Nevada. Its about page says it supplies more than 500 ingredients, in sizes from grams to metric tons, and runs a manufacturing and distribution facility with more than 100 full-time staff. Orders go out from fulfillment centers in Las Vegas and Nashville, and the company says most ship within 24 hours. Its public product feed held 805 product pages when we checked, partly because many ingredients have one page for the powder and another for the capsules.

The model is simple. It buys single ingredients in bulk and sells them as loose powder or plain capsules with nothing blended in. The NMN, TUDCA and berberine powders all give “Other Ingredients: None”. If you read labels and build your own stack, that helps: you know what is in the bag. It is the same single-ingredient logic behind our guide to the best longevity supplements for 2026.

On the longevity shelf, BulkSupplements carries NMN powder and capsules, resveratrol powder and capsules, TUDCA, berberine HCl powder, glutathione, shilajit, tongkat ali (sold as Longjack) and fadogia. Its nicotinamide riboside capsules were sold out. It does not sell spermidine, pterostilbene or calcium alpha-ketoglutarate (Ca-AKG). The nearest it has to Ca-AKG are arginine AKG and ornithine AKG, which are different compounds. For those gaps, see our comparisons of spermidine supplements, pterostilbene supplements, Ca-AKG supplements and nicotinamide riboside supplements. We sell Spermidine 10mg and Nicotinamide Riboside 500mg as one-capsule servings.

Is BulkSupplements legit? Testing, reviews and returns

Testing

The about page says each supplement is tested by a third-party laboratory before distribution, and that the company uses US-based independent labs. We did not find a certificate of analysis on the NMN, resveratrol, TUDCA or berberine product pages. If lot testing decides it for you, ask customer service for the certificate that matches the lot number on your pack. That advice holds for every brand, ours included.

ConsumerLab, a subscription service that buys supplements and tests them, has a public page for the brand. It reports 19 BulkSupplements products tested. Fifteen passed its quality review, four did not, and six were named Top Picks. Which products those were is shown to members only, so the page tells you nothing about the NMN or resveratrol in particular. What it does show is that a low price and poor quality don’t have to go together.

Customer reviews

The company has claimed its Trustpilot profile, and the reviews split almost evenly between five stars and one star. The praise is for fast shipping, price and range. The complaints we read were about orders that took weeks or months to arrive, damaged or incomplete packages, slow or unfriendly support, and returns that cost the buyer money. Product complaints appear too, such as a batch that arrived discolored, but there are fewer of them. One reviewer on the brand’s own resveratrol powder page wrote that some servings are given as 1/5 teaspoon, a size no standard measuring spoon comes in, and that the berberine powder was so bitter they would have bought capsules had they known.

Shipping and returns

Shipping is free on orders over $59 within the contiguous US, and flat-rate shipping starts at $9.95 below that. Unopened items can go back within 30 days of the invoice date for a refund of the purchase price, but the buyer pays return postage, and shipping charges and discount codes are not refunded. Opened items get a partial refund equal to the price of the smallest size of that product. Subscribe-and-save orders take 10% off. For comparison, Eternal Elixir offers a 30-day money-back guarantee and free US shipping over $100, and orders ship in 24 hours.

BulkSupplements NMN vs Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg: cost per gram

A pouch price and a bottle price can’t be compared directly, so the table converts each product to cost per gram of NMN. It uses each label’s stated amount and the one-time price on each brand’s US store as of Sep 2026.

On price alone, the powder wins by a wide margin. The 100 g pouch costs about a quarter of what our capsules cost per gram of NMN, and it holds roughly 200 of its quarter-teaspoon servings. If you already own a milligram scale and weigh every dose, no capsule we have compared comes close on cost.

The capsules are harder to judge. The NMN capsule page gives the serving as “1 Capsule” in a bovine gelatin shell, but it never says how much NMN is inside, so you can’t work out a cost per gram or check the dose against a study. The price also depends on the page you buy from. The same 60-capsule bottle was $17.97 on the capsule page and $20.96 as an option on the powder page, so check the cart before you pay.

Ours costs more per gram. The extra buys a measured dose: 500 mg of NMN in every capsule, printed on the label, with nothing to scoop or weigh. To see how other NMN products compare on disclosed dose, read our ranking of the best NMN supplements and our guide to liposomal NMN versus capsules.

The scoop problem: milligram doses measured with a teaspoon

Most BulkSupplements reviews look at creatine or protein, which are dosed in grams, where a small error in the scoop hardly matters. The longevity shelf works in milligrams, and BulkSupplements gives those servings as volumes:

  • NMN powder: 1/4 teaspoon, “about 500mg”
  • TUDCA powder: 1/4 teaspoon, “about 500mg”
  • Berberine HCl powder: 1/4 teaspoon, “about 500 mg”
  • Resveratrol powder: 1/2 teaspoon, “about 1g”

A teaspoon measures volume, not weight. How much powder fills a quarter teaspoon depends on how fine and dense it is and how firmly you pack it, which is why the label says “about”. The product pages also warn that serving sizes on the website “are subject to occasional adjustments” when ingredients or suppliers change. Most kitchen scales read in whole grams, so they can’t confirm a 500 mg serving either.

BulkSupplements sells its own answer. Its milligram scale reads to 0.001 g and costs $44.96, though it was sold out, and its pocket scale reads to 0.01 g for the same price. Add that scale to a 100 g NMN pouch and the first order comes to $72.93, or about $0.73 per gram of NMN. That is still cheaper than our capsules, and from the second pouch on the gap goes back to about four to one. So the scale doesn’t wipe out the saving. It adds a step you repeat every morning, at home, before you can take your dose.

What the NMN and resveratrol research used

Dose precision matters because the human trials gave fixed daily amounts. The trials are also small and short, so it helps to know what they did and didn’t show.

In a 60-day randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial in GeroScience (Yi and colleagues, 2023), 80 healthy middle-aged adults took a placebo or 300 mg, 600 mg or 900 mg of NMN once a day. Blood NAD levels rose in all three NMN groups at day 30 and day 60 and were highest with 600 mg and 900 mg. Six-minute walking distance went up more in each NMN group than with placebo. Three of the authors were employees of ingredient companies, Abinopharm and ABA Chemicals.

In a 12-week double-blind trial in older adults, published in the same journal (Morifuji and colleagues, 2024), 60 participants took 250 mg of NMN a day or a placebo. The main measure, a stepping test, showed no difference between the groups. Blood NAD+ rose and 4-meter walking time got shorter in the NMN group, but those were secondary measures. Three of the four authors work for Meiji Holdings.

Evidence level: small randomized human trials that measured blood NAD+ and walking tests over two to three months. NMN has not been shown to extend human lifespan, and we found no published trial of either brand’s own product. Our capsules hold 500 mg each, inside the range those trials tested, so follow the serving on the label. For safety questions, read our guide on whether NMN is safe.

Resveratrol brings a different problem. In a small study in Drug Metabolism and Disposition (Walle and colleagues, 2004), six volunteers took a 25 mg oral dose of labeled resveratrol. At least 70% of it was absorbed, but only trace amounts of unchanged resveratrol reached the blood, because the gut and liver convert it quickly. A bigger number on the pouch or the bottle doesn’t guarantee more resveratrol in circulation. Evidence level: small human absorption studies, which don’t tell you which daily amount works best. Our NMN versus resveratrol guide explains how the two fit together.

Resveratrol, TUDCA and berberine: where BulkSupplements wins on price

A review that only found points in our favor wouldn’t be much use. On these three ingredients BulkSupplements is cheaper per gram, sometimes by a lot.

Resveratrol

ProductResveratrol per servingServingsPriceCost per servingCost per gram
Eternal Elixir Trans-Resveratrol 600mg600 mg trans-resveratrol in 1 capsule90$59.99$0.67$1.11
BulkSupplements Resveratrol Capsules (180)1,000 mg in 2 capsules90$39.96$0.44$0.44
BulkSupplements Resveratrol Powder (100 g)1/2 tsp, “about 1g”About 100$41.97About $0.42$0.42

BulkSupplements describes its resveratrol as “98% pure”, but its pages don’t say whether that is trans-resveratrol. Ours is sold as trans-resveratrol at 98% purity. Even so, the 180-capsule bottle costs about 40% of our price per gram, and if the trans question doesn’t bother you, it is the better buy on price. Ours is one capsule per serving instead of two. Our resveratrol supplement comparison covers more options.

TUDCA

Stock gets in the way here. On the TUDCA powder page, only the 10 g pouch was in stock, at $18.97. That is about $1.90 per gram, close to our $2.00. The larger pouches and both capsule sizes were sold out on that page. The TUDCA capsules page showed a 50 g pouch in stock at $45.97, about $0.92 per gram, while the powder page showed the same size at $46.97 and sold out. Our TUDCA 500mg costs $59.99 for 60 one-capsule servings, which is $1.00 a serving. If you can get the 50 g pouch and you own a scale, it costs less than half as much per gram as ours. Our TUDCA comparison covers the capsule brands, and our guide on when to take TUDCA covers timing.

Berberine

The berberine HCl powder costs $32.97 for 100 g, about $0.33 per gram, with a serving of a quarter teaspoon, “about 500 mg”. Our Berberine HCl 500mg is $49.99 for 90 one-capsule servings, $0.56 a serving and about $1.11 per gram. The powder comes in at less than a third of our price per gram. Berberine can interact with some prescription medicines, so talk to your doctor before you take it if you use any. Our berberine comparison covers other capsule brands.

How BulkSupplements compares with other value brands

If you want a low price but would rather not weigh powder, other US value brands sell capsules with the dose on the label. NOW Foods sells NMN in 250 mg capsules, and our NOW Foods review has its prices. Double Wood posts lot test results on several of its product pages, which our Double Wood Supplements review covers. Our Nutricost review and Micro Ingredients review look at two more low-cost brands, and our Thorne review covers the premium end of the market.

BulkSupplements review verdict: who should buy, who should skip

Buy BulkSupplements if you already own a milligram scale, you know the dose you want, and cost per gram matters more to you than convenience. Its powders cost far less per gram than our capsules for NMN, resveratrol and berberine, and for TUDCA when the larger pouch is in stock. Single-ingredient powders with nothing added are also the easiest way to mix your own blend.

Skip it if you don’t want to weigh powder every morning, you travel, or you want a capsule with the dose printed on the label. Its NMN capsules don’t state how much NMN they hold, its TUDCA capsules were sold out, and an opened product only earns back the price of the smallest size if you return it.

Our pick for NMN: Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg. We make it, so weigh that as you read. It costs more per gram than BulkSupplements powder, and each capsule holds a stated 500 mg of NMN, with 90 capsules to a bottle, a 30-day money-back guarantee and free US shipping over $100. A sensible middle path is powder for the gram-dosed basics and capsules for the milligram actives you want to take the same way every day.

BulkSupplements review FAQ

Is BulkSupplements legit?

Yes. BulkSupplements.com is run by Hard Eight Nutrition LLC in Henderson, Nevada, and ships from fulfillment centers in Las Vegas and Nashville. ConsumerLab’s public brand page reports 19 of its products tested, with 15 passing and 6 named Top Picks. Customer reviews are split: buyers praise the prices and range, and most complaints are about slow orders, damaged packages and support.

Is BulkSupplements third-party tested?

The company says every supplement is tested by an outside US laboratory before distribution. We did not find a lot certificate of analysis on its NMN, resveratrol, TUDCA or berberine pages, so ask customer service for the certificate that matches the lot number on your pack.

Why is BulkSupplements so cheap?

It sells single ingredients with nothing blended in, mostly as loose powder and in large sizes. Part of the manufacturing work, measuring each dose, moves to you. Its 100 g NMN pouch works out to about $0.28 per gram, against $1.11 for our NMN 500mg capsules.

Is BulkSupplements NMN good?

The powder is good value if you can weigh it. It costs $27.97 for 100 g, and the serving is a quarter teaspoon, “about 500mg”, so a milligram scale is the only way to know what you are taking. The NMN capsules give the serving as one capsule without stating the NMN amount, which makes them hard to compare with anything.

What is the best alternative to BulkSupplements for NMN?

Our pick is Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg, which we make: 500 mg of NMN in every capsule and 90 capsules for $49.99, with nothing to weigh. If the lowest cost per gram matters more to you and you own a milligram scale, BulkSupplements powder is cheaper.

Add NMN 500mg to cart · $49.99

What is the BulkSupplements return policy?

Unopened items can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date for a refund of the purchase price. The buyer pays return postage, and shipping charges and discount codes are not refunded. Opened items returned within 30 days get a partial refund equal to the price of that product’s smallest size.
