PureBulk Review 2026: Powders, Capsules and Real Costs

PureBulk review: bulk supplement powders, a milligram scale and capsules

Edited by Elaine Fletcher, Researcher

Quick answer: Our PureBulk review for 2026 finds a real Oregon company that sells pure single ingredients cheaply, mostly as powder, with 250 mg capsules for many of them. On a cost-per-500 mg basis PureBulk beats our prices on six of the seven ingredients we both sell, and it ties us on NMN.

What you give up is convenience. Most PureBulk capsule doses take two pills, and the powder needs a milligram scale. If you want a full 500 mg dose in one capsule, our pick is Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg, which costs $49.99 for 90 capsules at the price we checked on 6 October 2026.

This guide covers who PureBulk is, what its own pages say about testing and returns, and a dose-matched price table built from both stores. If you are weighing powder brands more broadly, our BulkSupplements review looks at the other big bulk seller, and our guide to longevity supplements explains where each ingredient fits.

Key takeaways

  • PureBulk review verdict: a legitimate, low-cost seller of pure powders and 250 mg capsules, best for people who are happy to weigh doses or take two pills.
  • Per 500 mg, PureBulk costs less than Eternal Elixir on TUDCA, NR, berberine, resveratrol, glutathione and pterostilbene; NMN is within one cent.
  • Eternal Elixir puts a 500 mg dose of NMN, TUDCA, NR, berberine or pterostilbene in one capsule, ships fast across the US and offers free shipping over $100.

PureBulk review 2026: who the company is

PureBulk is a US supplement company based in Roseburg, Oregon. Its own history page says Timothy McNulty founded it in 2008 in Missoula, Montana, and that it began by selling on eBay before moving to Oregon in 2009 and to Roseburg in 2010. The company says it now employs more than 40 people.

The catalog is large. When we pulled PureBulk’s public product feed on 6 October 2026 it listed 552 products, from amino acids and vitamins to herbal extracts, plus 20 kg and 25 kg commercial bags.

It also sells the gear that powder buyers need: milligram scales, measuring spoons, empty capsules and capsule-filling machines. That tells you who the store is built for. PureBulk expects many customers to measure and encapsulate their own doses.

For the longevity ingredients that overlap with our range, PureBulk sells NMN, TUDCA, nicotinamide riboside chloride, berberine HCl, trans-resveratrol, reduced glutathione and pterostilbene. Each comes as powder in bags from 5 or 10 grams up, and most also come as 120-count capsules at 250 mg, with glutathione at 400 mg and pterostilbene at 200 mg per capsule. PureBulk also sells two NMN blends in capsules, one of which lists 510 mg of NMN per three-capsule serving alongside resveratrol, betaine, quercetin and piperine.

Is PureBulk legit? Testing, COAs and returns

Yes, on the evidence we could check. PureBulk is a long-running company with a physical base, a phone line and published policies. Here is what its own pages state, quoted as the company states it rather than verified by us.

Testing and paperwork

PureBulk says it uses third-party laboratories to test its products for purity and potency, follows good manufacturing practices, and provides a certificate of analysis (COA) for each batch on request. It also offers allergen, vegan and nutritional statements on request. A COA you can ask for is useful. A COA posted on the product page is easier to check before you buy, so it is worth requesting the batch document for any ingredient you plan to take daily.

One line on PureBulk’s supplement facts panels is worth knowing. Several labels we read add a note that the facts “may vary from the product you receive” and ask customers to call for exact numbers. That is an honest disclaimer, and it is another reason to request the COA.

When you get a COA, check four things. The lot number should match the one printed on your bag or bottle. The identity test should name a method, such as HPLC.

The assay result should sit close to the label amount. Heavy metal and microbial results should be listed with their limits. A COA that covers all four tells you far more than a marketing line, and that applies to every brand in this PureBulk review, including ours.

Shipping and returns

PureBulk offers free domestic shipping on orders over $99 and a 90-day satisfaction guarantee, according to its homepage. Its support line runs on weekdays, Pacific time. Eternal Elixir offers free shipping on US orders over $100, so the thresholds are close.

PureBulk vs Eternal Elixir: cost per 500 mg dose

Price per bottle tells you little when one store sells 250 mg capsules and the other sells 500 mg capsules. So we converted every product to the same unit: the cost of 500 mg of the active ingredient.

PureBulk figures use its cheaper gel-cap option and its 100 g bag. Eternal Elixir figures use the current price on our US store, including the NMN sale price. All prices were read from both live stores on 6 October 2026 and will change.

Ingredient (cost per 500 mg)Eternal Elixir capsulesPureBulk capsulesPureBulk powder, 100 g
NMN$0.56 (1 capsule, $49.99 for 90 × 500 mg)$0.55 (2 capsules, $32.75 for 120 × 250 mg)$0.58 ($115.00 per bag)
TUDCA$1.00 (1 capsule, $59.99 for 60 × 500 mg)$0.60 (2 capsules, $36.25 for 120 × 250 mg)$0.65 ($130.95 per bag)
Nicotinamide riboside$1.00 (1 capsule, $59.99 for 60 × 500 mg)$0.49 (2 capsules, $29.50 for 120 × 250 mg)$0.50 ($100.95 per bag)
Berberine HCl$0.56 (1 capsule, $49.99 for 90 × 500 mg)$0.28 (2 capsules, $16.50 for 120 × 250 mg)$0.20 ($40.50 per bag)
Trans-resveratrol$0.56 (600 mg capsule, $59.99 for 90)$0.33 (2 capsules, $19.95 for 120 × 250 mg)$0.28 ($56.50 per bag)
Reduced glutathione$0.33 (a quarter of a 2-capsule, 2,000 mg serving, $39.99 for 60)$0.24 ($23.50 for 120 × 400 mg)$0.23 ($45.50 per bag)
Pterostilbene$0.72 (1 capsule, $64.99 for 90 × 500 mg)$0.54 ($25.75 for 120 × 200 mg)$0.59 ($118.95 per bag)

The result is clear. PureBulk is the cheaper store per milligram for six of the seven, and on NMN the two capsule options sit one cent apart. If the lowest cost per gram is your only test, PureBulk wins it, and we would rather say so than bend the math.

The gap is widest on nicotinamide riboside and TUDCA, where our capsules cost $1.00 per 500 mg. If you are comparing those two ingredients, our TUDCA supplement guide and our NMN vs nicotinamide riboside comparison cover how the doses and forms differ.

Capsule strength: why PureBulk doses often take two pills

Most of PureBulk’s capsules hold 250 mg. Its own NMN capsule label sets the serving at two capsules for 500 mg, and its TUDCA label suggests 250 mg once daily. If you follow a 500 mg routine, a 120-count bottle lasts 60 days, and you swallow two capsules each time.

The powder route asks more of you. PureBulk’s NMN label gives the serving as 1/8 teaspoon, about 500 mg, and its TUDCA directions tell buyers to use an accurate milligram scale.

A spoon measure can drift with how tightly the powder is packed, so a scale is the safer tool. For ingredients like NMN that are taken in hundreds of milligrams, a small error is no great matter. For anyone who wants the same dose every morning without equipment, a filled capsule removes the guesswork.

This is where Eternal Elixir fits. Our NMN, TUDCA 500mg, Nicotinamide Riboside 500mg, Berberine HCl 500mg and pterostilbene each hold 500 mg in a single capsule, and our Trans-Resveratrol 600mg holds 600 mg. You pay more per milligram for that. You get one capsule per labeled dose, a fixed count per bottle and nothing to weigh.

What the research doses look like

Price only matters if the dose is in a useful range, so it helps to see what human trials used. Two examples cover ingredients both stores sell.

For NMN, a 10-week randomized, placebo-controlled trial published in Science (Yoshino, 2021) studied postmenopausal women with prediabetes who were overweight or obese. Muscle insulin sensitivity and insulin signaling rose after NMN and did not change after placebo. The study was small and specific to that group, so it may not apply to everyone, but it is one of the better-designed NMN trials in people.

For glutathione, a 6-month randomized, double-blind trial in the European Journal of Nutrition (Richie, 2015) gave 54 adults 250 mg or 1,000 mg of oral glutathione a day. Blood glutathione levels rose at both doses, the increases were mostly dose- and time-dependent, and levels fell back to baseline a month after stopping. That suggests the daily amount and consistency both count, which matters when you compare a 400 mg capsule with a 1,000 mg one.

Neither trial tested PureBulk or Eternal Elixir products. They show the dose ranges researchers have used, which is the right yardstick for any brand you choose.

PureBulk review verdict: who each option suits

OptionBest for
Eternal Elixir capsules (our pick)Best for a full 500 mg dose in one capsule, with a fixed count per bottle, fast US shipping and nothing to measure.
PureBulk 250 mg capsulesBest for buyers who want a lower cost per milligram and are fine taking two capsules per 500 mg dose.
PureBulk powderBest for people who already own a milligram scale and want the lowest price per gram on single ingredients.

The short version of this PureBulk review: the company is legitimate and cheap per gram, and the trade-off is dosing effort. PureBulk is a solid choice for experienced buyers who know their dose and want to pay less for it. Eternal Elixir is our pick for anyone who values one-capsule dosing over the last few cents per gram. For a practical NMN routine, see our NMN 500 mg dosage guide, and compare the other bulk-friendly brand in our NOW Foods review.

PureBulk review FAQ

Is PureBulk trustworthy?

PureBulk is an established US company, founded in 2008 and based in Roseburg, Oregon, with published shipping and return policies. It says it sends products to third-party labs and supplies batch COAs on request. Ask for the COA for anything you take daily.

Is PureBulk third-party tested?

PureBulk states that third-party laboratories test its products for purity and potency and that COAs are available for each batch on request. We did not test its products, so we report this as the company’s own claim.

Does PureBulk sell capsules or only powder?

Both. Most overlapping ingredients come as powder in bags and as 120-count capsules, usually at 250 mg each. Glutathione capsules are 400 mg and pterostilbene capsules are 200 mg.

Is PureBulk cheaper than Eternal Elixir?

Per 500 mg, yes for TUDCA, NR, berberine, resveratrol, glutathione and pterostilbene, based on prices from both stores on 6 October 2026. NMN capsules are within one cent. Eternal Elixir costs more per milligram and puts each 500 mg dose in one capsule. For glutathione timing, see our guide to the best time to take glutathione.

What is the best alternative to PureBulk for NMN?

Our pick is Eternal Elixir NMN 500mg: one 500 mg capsule per dose, 90 capsules per bottle and $49.99 at the sale price we checked, against $32.75 for 120 of PureBulk’s 250 mg capsules. Per 500 mg the two cost about the same.
